You are looking at The Monster; a custom made switch panel for your center console that holds up to 16 switches and implements a USB port so you retain this important function in your Camaro. Most people will never have a need for 16 switches, but some people will, and it also gives you peace of mind for future projects that require switches. The Monster can truly future proof your Camaro for electronic mods at any time down the line by having switches already in place; mounted and ready to wire up. The Monster will fit in an automatic car and a manual car.
The switchplate is made with a 1/8" thick acrylic top, with a 1/4" acrylic reinforcement backplate for added strength. It also has 3 1/4" acrylic rails for extra reinforcement running longways down the plate's underside. The rails rest on the bottom of your console storage area and have padding on the bottom (for sound deadening) and mouseholes cut in them so your wiring doesn't get pinched. The sides of the top plate also have a foam lining so you get a nice, gasket-like fit into the console. The Monster comes with 4 switches in the base price. Additional switches (up to 12) are $5.00 each.
If your car has a factory USB port in this area, it is important that you upgrade to the USB equipped plate. Since this plate blocks off your factory USB port, we have taken this into account and made this feature available on this plate. It is a $20 upgrade due to parts and labor. We literally fit a 6" USB extension cable into the plate with a custom made tower that holds the USB cable in place.
You are allowed to choose how many switches you would like (between 4 - 16), what type of switch you want (On / Off rocker switch, momentary rocker switch, or a cutout/bottle opener switch) and the color of the LEDs in the rocker switches (amber, red, green - applicable only in On / Off switches.).
We also give you the option of typing in custom labels. For example, you may want a fan switch, so when prompted below, you would type in "Fan". We will also allow you to choose the color of the lettering .

We will not provide any wiring or instructions other than what is on this page - just the switches.
4 switches are included in the base price (Except blue. Blue will add a small amount). Every switch afterward will add to the cost of the part.
You can backlight this panel, but it will be completely up to you - We do not sell the backlighting electronics. We will leave your labels uncolored, and you can wire in your own light source from underneath, and this will, in turn, light up your switch labels.
Important notes:
On / Off switches are for things like cooling fans, nitrous arming, line locks, bottle warmers. Wiring instructions here.
Momentary switches are used for things you only want to happen for an instant, such as nitrous purging.
Cutout Switches / Bottle Opener Switches are used for operating cutouts and nitrous bottle openers, or anyting else that has a 2-way motor. These are 6-pin switches that are momentary in both up and down positions, meaning the moment you let go of up or down, they snap back into the off position.
NOTE: Please allow up to two weeks for this product to ship. It is completely custom made to your specs, and due to the amount of parts involved, some switches/materials may need to be ordered to manufacture the switchplate to your specs. This will not always be the case, but stock needs to be replenished from time to time, and this particular piece takes a lot of different materials. We normally have all necessary parts in stock.
