This is a replacement piece for your stock, plastic front scoop insert made from laser-cut mirror stainless steel.  You get the insert pre-bent.  This adheres to the scoop opening with pre-applied 3M double-sided automotive tape.

To remove your factory insert, simply grab the middle rib with a pair of pliers, and pull straight out.  To avoid scarring your stock piece, use a rag where the pliers make contact with the plastic.

This piece really makes the front end look custom.  The reflection off of the insert is dynamic and changes according to what is around it - see pictures for examples.
